Blame it on Kris Allen

Blame it on Kris Allen:
1. when you are willing to wait in line all day for your daughter to get concert tickets.
2. When 2 hungry missionaries come over at 6:00 to a hostess' cold kitchen. Sorry guys!
3. When you let your child skip school.
4. When you let your child stay up late to vote longer
5. When permanent marker fumes are all you can smell.

remission is here

I have wonderful news! My nephew who has AML (leukemia) is in remission! We are so thankful. To my knowledge he still has more chemo rounds to finish. His doctors are still determining if a BMT is in the future. I just had to share. His caring bridge is www.caringbridge.org/visit/collinmarsh

CTR 8

I just enjoy being around and teaching the CTR 8 class! What is even better is i practice my lesson on my daughter on Saturday nights. That gives me such a great feeling too.

Jax did a good job getting up to pray! Primary is so fun!:-)

rear ended=missing Riley's baptism:(

Oh my. Today Maddy and I were out in the Wal*Mart area picking up a few things. Sigh....our shopp ing was over and we were heading home on Hogan waiting to turn left at the light when we were rear ended. Everyone is fine but it shook us up, and when it happened Maddy screamed. The gentlemen that was at fault was trying to convince me that the police did not need to be involved since there was no damage to either vehicle! I told him that my husband would not be pleased with me if i came home without filing a police report.......then he says,"Yeah, i would want my wife to do the same."

I just got a bad vibe from him so not wanting the police involved.(???)
As we were waiting for the police to arrive doing the awkward chit-chat he told me he had been at the golf course ALL DAY.
So in the Hoopla of all of this we missed Miss Riley's baptism.
We are very thankful that there was no damage to the cars or the precious cargo inside.

The family bed-relapsed!

I never knew what kind of Mommy i would be until i became a Mommy. I didn't know that our cute little house would feel like a mansion with a newborn in the house. :P I didn't know how painful it would be to see Madeline sleep alone in her bed..I felt like i was abandoning her......

Here goes the big family secret...... we all 3 coslept together for 5 years....and we recently relapsed!:D

The relapse bagan when we changed Madeline's bed from a Queen to a Twin. Her poor litle room needed more room. She was all in favor for the change! Now we find our selves "3 peas in a pod" again.(???) It's not a big deal, but tonight i am going to tell her to sleep in her own bed. We'll see how it all goes...

Mrs. Claus is resting

Although Maddy knows the big Santa secret she still pretends and she made cookies for Santa and left a cute note for Santa. On the note for Santa she asked for signatures...hum...why i wonder?

She couldn't go to sleep tonight she was tossing and turning with gumdrop delight. I heard her sneeze! I jumped up with delight and gave her a dose a benedryl.

Yes, unfortunately a side effect of benedryl is drowsiness. It seems to have worked....no more sneezes and only quiet slumber is coming from the bed. Now if only Santa could get sleepy. I don't want to be a grouchy Santa in the a.m. Maybe Santa needs Benedryl?

I am going to "try" a new possible tradition of cooking a big breakfast Christmas morning. I have my griddle out and ready to "fire" it up. I bought the real bacon instead of the turkey bacon i usually cook. Now i'm starting to ramble. Time to wrap it up.
over n out.
